Detroit mayor announces $2.2M city investment in 7 new after-school sites
Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan announced a $2.2 million city investment to open seven new after-school sites operated by the nonprofit GOAL Line Detroit. This expansion is expected to serve approximately 1,000 additional students and includes transportation services from local schools to the program locations.
The funding will allow GOAL Line Detroit to serve around 1,000 more students. The nonprofit also provides transportation from city schools to the programs.
