ST. LOUIS - A man was killed in a shooting early Friday in west St. Louis. According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting occurred around 12:40 a.m. in the 1200 block of Hamilton Avenue near the Hamilton Heights neighborhood. An investigation is ongoing. Homicide detectives were requested, police said.
