Asbury Park, New Jersey, has agreed to pay $175,000 to settle a lawsuit involving allegations of police brutality outside a local nightclub. The claimant alleged that officers used excessive force by slamming him face-down onto the pavement and kneeling on his back during an arrest outside the venue Porta.
The man alleged officers slammed him face down and drove their knees into his back while handcuffing him outside Porta in Asbury Park.
