Lawmakers ask Braun for diesel alternative for farmers

Indiana lawmakers are requesting that farmers be permitted to use tax-exempt off-road diesel in semi-trucks during harvest season to mitigate high fuel costs.
Fifty-one lawmakers signed a letter by State Rep. Jim Pressel asking Gov. Mike Braun to let Hoosier farmers use off-road diesel fuel during the harvest season.
