Manhattan DA seizes 12 deepfake porn sites, says many more are out there
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced the seizure of 12 websites that used AI to create deepfake sexual images of approximately 1,200 people. While the sites targeted mostly women, no charges have been filed yet. Prosecutors warned that many more similar sites remain active.
