Tribune editorial: Sloppy accounting at Utah’s GOED needs to be corrected, and reversed
The Salt Lake Tribune editorial board called for corrections to accounting practices at Utah’s Governor’s Office of Economic Development, citing concerns over the misuse of public funds.
“In a state where officials worry loudly about how too much money goes to the ‘undeserving poor,’ we should be at least as worried about the money that is directed, with far too little caution, to the crony capitalists,” the editorial board writes.
