A 34-year-old man was fatally shot inside a smoke shop in Chicago's Portage Park neighborhood on Thursday night. Police are searching for a masked suspect who was seen fleeing the scene.
A gunman was seen running away from a Portage Park smoke shop after fatally shooting a man inside the business Thursday night. Jefferson Park District officers on a traffic stop were flagged down by a witness who saw a suspicious person wearing a mask inside the smoke shop at 5612 W. Irving Park Rd. about 9:35 p.m., according to a Chicago police report obtained by the Sun-Times. Inside they found Mohammad A.
