SFUSD’s long-awaited Mandarin immersion school finally has a (temporary) address
The San Francisco Unified School District has secured a temporary location for its new Mandarin immersion school, which is set to open next year. This marks a shift for the district, which has focused on Cantonese immersion for over 30 years.
For more than 30 years, district’s Chinese immersion schools have taught Cantonese. The one opening next year will teach Mandarin.
