N.J. township official hit deer in government-issued vehicle, lied about incident, investigators say
A New Jersey township official allegedly lied about hitting a deer in a government vehicle. Investigators discovered accident remains in Pemberton, 15 miles from the location the official originally reported to police. He is accused of providing false information regarding the incident.
Police found the remains from his accident in Pemberton, roughly 15 miles from where he told police that the accident had occurred.
