‘Silver State … not Surveillance State’: Nevada lawmaker proposes ban on tech behind Flock cameras
Nevada lawmaker Selena La Rue Hatch proposed a ban on technology used in Flock safety cameras to limit government surveillance. The proposal aims to prevent widespread monitoring of residents through automated license plate readers. Hatch stated that no American should be subject to such surveillance.
“No one living in the United States of America should be the subject of widespread government surveillance, period,” Selena La Rue Hatch wrote.
