Chicago police shot and killed a dog that attacked them while the officers were working on an investigation in the Humboldt Park neighborhood Monday, police said.Shortly before 5 p.m., the officers were in the 700 block of North Christiana Avenue when a dog approached and attacked an officer. One of the officers then shot the dog. The dog died and the city's Department of Animal Care and Control was notified.Three officers were taken to nearby hospitals in good condition.
