HFD: Waikiki nightclub fire was caused by lithium-ion battery
The cause of a fire at Kiki’s Tiki Bar in Waikiki was a lithium-ion battery that experienced thermal runaway in a storage room, according to the Honolulu Fire Department. HFD has classified the cause of the fire as accidental.
