Little Rock native Beronda L. Montgomery heads to Six Bridges Book Festival later this month. Her latest book, “When Trees Testify,” combines “scientific expertise with memoir and family history to reveal the multifaceted connections of trees and plants to the Black American experience” (Kirkus Reviews).
