Tonight’s the final night for summer hours at Alki, Don Armeni

Alki Beach and the Don Armeni Boat Ramp will end their summer operating hours tonight. Starting tomorrow, Alki Beach will extend its closing time to 11:30 pm, while Don Armeni will return to 24-hour operation.
(Don Armeni file photo from seattle.gov) As noted here three-plus weeks ago, Labor Day was not the end of earlier-for-summer closing time at Alki Beach and Don Armeni Boat Ramp. Tonight, however, is, as we first reported in March. Both park areas close at 10:30 pm one last time tonight; starting tomorrow, Alki’s closing time will be 11:30 pm, while Don Armeni is supposed to revert to 24-hour operation.
