Newborn killed by family pit bull mix, Chomp, who bit him 180 times in squalid home

A newborn died after being bitten multiple times by a family pit bull mix in a residence southwest of Fort Wayne. Authorities reported the home was in squalid condition, filled with trash and bugs. The incident occurred approximately 25 miles from the city.
The home, about 25 miles southwest of Fort Wayne, was overflowing with bugs, trash, dirty dishes and dirty clothes.
