California High-Speed Rail watchdog says cash crisis could mean even shorter Central Valley segment

The California High-Speed Rail project is expected to run out of funding by December 2027, and it could mean an even shorter first segment through the Central Valley than what lawmakers and project officials had been planning, according to the project's government watchdog.
