Seattle area ranks No. 5 for most expensive commute in the U.S., study finds
The Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue metropolitan area has been ranked as the fifth most expensive region for commuters in the United States. A recent study indicates that the total financial impact of travel in the area includes several factors that extend significantly beyond the cost of fuel.
The cost of commuting in the Seattle-Tacoma-Bellevue metro area goes far beyond filling up the gas tank.
