More than 300 North Texas child welfare jobs caught in contract shakeup
More than 300 child welfare positions in North Texas are being eliminated following a significant contract restructuring. The layoffs are scheduled to take effect by October 31 as part of a transition in how the region’s social services are managed.
The layoffs are expected to take effect by Halloween.
