All-you-can-eat sushi is taking over the Pacific Northwest's old Shari's cafes

An all-you-can-eat sushi chain is expanding into former Shari's Cafe locations throughout the Pacific Northwest. The business is repurposing the defunct diner chain's signature hexagonal storefronts for its new restaurants. A new location is scheduled to open soon in Milwaukie.
The all-you-can-eat chain has zeroed in on the mostly defunct 24-hour diner chain and its nostalgic hexagonal storefronts. Milwaukie is next on the list.
