Massive wildlife overpass has helped reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions by 91% in Colorado
The Colorado Department of Transportation completed North America’s largest wildlife overpass on I-25 between Denver and Colorado Springs. The structure has reduced wildlife-vehicle collisions by 91%. Various species, including elk and mountain lions, now use the overpass to cross the highway safely.
