Chris Coons defeats challengers in Delaware’s Democratic primary for U.S. Senate
Incumbent Chris Coons secured the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate in Delaware by defeating three primary challengers. He successfully fended off opposition from candidates Appelhans, Louve, and Hansen to maintain his position on the ballot. Coons will now advance to the general election as he seeks to retain his seat.
