Massie in shock admission about Hegseth impeachment, GOP House leaders
Representative Thomas Massie stated that some House Republican leaders might support an impeachment effort against Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth if he is confirmed. These remarks suggest internal GOP tensions regarding the vetting and potential future of Donald Trump’s cabinet picks. It currently remains unclear how many other Republican lawmakers would join such a move against the nominee.
It’s not known if other Republicans will join the impeachment effort.
