Judge denies motion to dismiss felony charge against former Mesquite police chief
A judge has denied a motion to dismiss a felony charge against former Mesquite Police Chief MaQuade Chesley, who is accused of secretly recording a conversation inside City Hall. Chesley is the second public official to be prosecuted by the Clark County District Attorney’s office for this offense in recent months. A preliminary hearing in the case is currently scheduled for November 4.
