Letter: Sea Life Park takeover a chance to infuse culture
It seems the change in stewardship of Sea Life Park to the Hawaiian Council may herald a promise of a spirit more in keeping with the Hawaiian culture and heritage by immersing visitors in it (“Sea Life Park begins new transformation, Star Advertiser, Sept. 14). As Hawaiian Council CEO Kuhio Lewis said, “We want it to be someplace that’s really grounded in Hawaii.”
