Cornell student says "we feel anger" and "incredibly let down" amid rape investigation
Cornell University students expressed anger and disappointment regarding the university's handling of sexual violence following a lawsuit alleging a 2024 gang rape at a fraternity house.
Adriana Vink, a student at Cornell University, and her mother, Carolyn Castiglia, spoke to "CBS Mornings" about the public hearing on sexual violence that was held Thursday after a former student filed a lawsuit alleging she was gang raped by multiple men in a fraternity house in 2024. "We feel anger here at Cornell and feel incredibly let down by the adults in charge who are supposed to be keeping us safe," Vink said.
