Sahan Journal founder Mukhtar Ibrahim is launching a new media company called The Somali Brief. The outlet aims to focus on the lived experiences of Somali Americans.
The veteran journalist and entrepreneur is building The Somali Brief into a "social-first" news organization that will paint a fuller picture of the lived experiences of Somali Americans. WCCO’s Ubah Ali will join as the outlet’s lead reporter.
