‘Difficult decision’: Bewley Building developers back out of $66M redevelopment plans

Developers have canceled a $66 million mixed-use redevelopment plan for the Bewley Building in Lockport. The decision follows repeated opposition from the city. The development group stated they have decided to move on from the project.
The $66-million redevelopment of Lockport’s Bewley Building has been called off. Developers said they have decided to move on after repeated city opposition to the mixed-use development.
