Daycare safety concerns block new car wash in Sterling Heights

STERLING HEIGHTS, MI — The Sterling Heights City Council voted 5-1 on Tuesday to deny a conditional rezoning request that would have allowed a Jax Car Wash to open at the former Rite Aid site on Dequindre and 19 Mile road.
