Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick calls on ERCOT to reverse 30% pay raise for board members

Texas Lieutenant Governor Dan Patrick is calling on ERCOT to reverse a 30% pay raise for its board members. Patrick also criticized the board over a contract that would have allowed the CEO to earn $6.4 million by 2027. The organization recently backtracked on that executive contract proposal.
Patrick has also rebuked ERCOT’s board for approving and then backtracking on a contract that would allow ERCOT’s CEO to earn $6.4 million in 2027.
