Since last year the alt.rock band Dream Syndicate has been touring to celebrate the 40th anniversary of its critically lauded sophomore album, "Medicine Show" -- which it also reissued in a deluxe box set last year. In the meantime the group is making plans for its next album, while frontman Steve Wynn has a batch of other projects he's working on. Dream Syndicate performs Oct. 7 at the Beachland Ballroom & Tavern in Cleveland.
