UnitedHealthcare members to again have WakeMed access after deal; vote set on WakeMed-Atrium merger
UnitedHealthcare commercial plan members will regain in-network access to WakeMed hospitals and physicians starting October 15. The agreement restores coverage following a period of disruption. Additionally, a vote is scheduled regarding a potential merger between WakeMed and Atrium Health.
Starting Oct. 15, UnitedHealthcare commercial plan members will once again have in-network access to WakeMed hospitals, clinics, and specialty physicians.
