Homeland Security defends officers in immigrant’s fatal car crash in Michigan
The Department of Homeland Security stated that federal immigration officers were a half-mile away when an undocumented immigrant died in a high-speed car crash in Michigan. The agency denied that officers were actively pursuing the vehicle at the time of the incident.
