ICE defends traffic stop preceding fleeing driver’s fatal crash
ICE is defending a traffic stop that led to a fatal crash involving a driver who fled the scene. The driver was a Guatemalan national operating a vehicle registered to another individual in the U.S. illegally.
Mario David Coronado-Juarez, 35, of Guatemala, was driving a vehicle registered to another man who was also in the U.S. illegally when ICE agent attempted a traffic stop and he fled, investigators say.
