18 deputy sheriffs sworn in, including 2 assigned to Maui

The Hawai‘i Department of Law Enforcement swore in its largest graduating class of deputy sheriffs, including two assigned to Maui.
It was the largest graduating recruit class of deputies of Hawai‘i Department of Law Enforcement since it became a separate state agency nearly 2 years ago. Two of the new deputy sheriffs include father and son Edgarinio and Ethan Ugale, respectively.
