TikTok settles with Alabama for at least $100M and agrees to new safety rules for kids
TikTok reached a settlement with Alabama for at least $100 million, agreeing to implement stricter safety measures for minors, including daily time limits and enhanced parental controls.
The deal requires two-hour daily limits, nighttime restrictions, stronger age checks and new parental controls for young users.
