VA paid $11.2 million for services never delivered to support veterans, watchdog finds

A watchdog report found the Department of Veterans Affairs paid $11.2 million for services that were never delivered to veterans. VA officials were aware of the issues shortly after the subcontract began but continued approving payments for nearly a year.
