Jilted vendor for Springfield’s annual Bright Nights display won’t budge

Spirit of Springfield’s board of directors in March voted not to renew a concession contract with Palazzo Cafe owner and caterer Luisa Cardaropoli ahead of Bright Nights, the annual display of lights and music at Forest Park. Instead, a member of the board is set to be her replacement.
