Two Landlords Will Pay $9.3 Million in RealPage Price-Fixing Scheme
Landlords JBG Smith and Mid-America Apartments have reached a $9.3 million settlement with the District of Columbia to resolve allegations of illegal rent price-fixing. The lawsuit, filed by Attorney General Brian Schwalb, accused the companies of using RealPage software to coordinate and artificially inflate rental costs across the city.
