Kin of Utah murder-suicide ‘dance mom’ and daughter claim killer was ‘the best’ mother
A Utah woman killed her daughter and herself at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas during a cheerleading competition. The mother reportedly drugged the child before the fatal shooting. Despite the murder-suicide, family members of the deceased described the mother as a loving parent.
The mom gave her daughter a cocktail of prescription medications and other drugs, then fatally shot the youngster and herself in the head in a room at the Rio Hotel and Casino, where they were staying during a cheerleading competition.
