A 47-year-old man was hospitalized for critical injuries early Saturday after he was shot in the Douglas neighborhood, Chicago police said.Officers responded to a call of a person shot at about 3:29 a.m. along the 3600 block of South King Drive, where they found the man on the ground with a gunshot wound to the groin, police said.Chicago Fire Department medics treated the man at the scene and took him to the University of Chicago Medical Center, according to police.
