Haleakalā National Park reopens as Tropical Storm Nolo passes
Haleakalā National Park has reopened following the passage of Tropical Storm Nolo. Sunrise reservations and various camping services are scheduled to resume on September 28.
Both districts of Haleakalā National Park are open—Sunrise reservations will resume for Monday, Sept. 28. Frontcountry camping in the Kīpahulu District will resume Monday, Sept. 28. Backcountry camping will resume Monday, Sept. 28. Frontcountry camping in the Summit District at Hosmer Grove will resume later in the week.
