The advocacy group Conserve Ohio is urging state lawmakers to pause all new data center projects for one year. The request comes as legislators prepare to discuss a potential 90-day suspension of the state gas tax.
Conserve Ohio, which wants to ban new large data centers in the state, called on lawmakers to halt development of new projects for 12 months when they return to Columbus next week to consider pausing Ohio's gas tax for 90-days.
