New pancreatic cancer drug marks shift from chemotherapy to targeted treatment
A new targeted treatment for pancreatic cancer has become available at UH, MetroHealth, and the Cleveland Clinic through an Expanded Access Program prior to its final FDA approval.
Prior to final Food and Drug Administration approval in August, UH, MetroHealth and the Cleveland Clinic gained access to the drug through an Expanded Access Program.
