Yankees reinstate Clarke Schmidt from IL, DFA Oswaldo Cabrera

The New York Yankees have reinstated right-hander Clarke Schmidt from the 60-day injured list following his recovery from Tommy John surgery. To make room on the active roster, the team designated utility player Oswaldo Cabrera for assignment. Schmidt returns to the club after being sidelined since last July with a torn UCL.
