Boerne freight company tied to Amazon laying off 230 workers in San Antonio area
Hundreds of Texans will be without work after a Boerne-based freight service that partnered with Amazon shuts down operations. 4XH Logistics LLC is laying off 230 workers starting Nov. 6 as part of its “ramp down provisions,” CEO Gabriel Hilario wrote in a Sept. 10 Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification letter to the Texas Workforce Commission and to Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones.
