Local officials have announced the creation of an 80-mile tourism trail on Long Island dedicated to former President Theodore Roosevelt. The route will connect Roosevelt’s former home in Nassau County to Montauk Point. The project’s unveiling coincided with the 125th anniversary of the Long Island resident being sworn into office.
