‘We’re baffled.’ Ann Arbor public power group calls city leaders’ reaction extreme
The Ann Arbor Public Power group is criticizing city leaders' reactions to their push for municipal power, arguing that current reliance on DTE results in high rates and unreliable service.
"As long as DTE controls electricity distribution in the city, most people will be forced to use its dirty, unreliable power, while paying some of the highest rates in the entire Midwest," A2P2 Executive Director Brian Geiringer said.
