Letter: GENIUS Act rigs system in favor of digital elite

A letter to the editor argues that the GENIUS Act favors a digital elite and compares digital currency to historical company scrip. The author claims the legislation allows companies to capture more consumer wealth through controlled spending systems.
Digital currency seems like a great way for the self-appointed digital overlords to keep more of our money in the company store. It’s the same scam rehashed, used by the old mining companies where you can only buy products using the company scrip in the company store — with a markup, of course.
