Oregon gets piece of $384 million Abbott baby formula settlement
Oregon will receive a portion of a $384 million settlement with baby formula manufacturer Abbott. The distribution of funds is currently undetermined, including whether any will reimburse the state’s Medicaid program. The program previously covered the costs for some of the affected products.
It’s unclear where the money will go or whether any will return to Oregon’s Medicaid program, which paid for some of the products.
