San Jose climber plummets 500ft down notorious Mount Shasta before crawling to remote cabin

A San Jose climber survived a 500-foot fall down Mount Shasta last week shortly after successfully reaching the mountain's summit. Despite his injuries, he managed to crawl to a remote cabin to seek help and was eventually rescued. The climber is now recovering from the life-threatening accident.
